SFA Joint Response Group update ruled that youngsters must not cross boundaries from ‘high risk’ health board areas to play football.
SFA chiefs are understood to have made that call after the First Minister’s address to the nation on Wednesday in which she said all non-essential travel between the five specific health boards should be avoided.
But coaches have been left scratching their heads after Nicola Sturgeon, in the same breath, said the government was not asking families to cancel half-term breaks to other parts of the country.
