A new social media campaign has been launched by Government to show solidarity with domestic abuse victims during the coronavirus crisis.

The initiative called #YouAreNotAlone has been set up to raise awareness that help is still available available for those at risk at home.

News of the campaign was revealed by UK Home Secretary Priti Patel during the Government’s daily coronavirus briefing. It is hoped that the initiative will reassure domestic abuse sufferers that they are not alone and that support is available for them during the lockdown.
