Two male suspects were seen fleeing south on 51st Street from Hadfield after the shooting.

(FIle Photo) PHILADELPHIA - Two people were arrested and charged after police say they used an empty baby stroller to steal fragrances from a Pennsylvania beauty store.Pennsylvania State Police say troopers responded to the Ulta Beauty at 833 North Krocks Road in Lower Macungie Township on Thursday afternoon for a report of retail theft. Police say two suspects, a 22-year-old man and 32-year-old woman from New Jersey, entered the store pushing a baby stroller. There was no baby inside.MORE HEADLINES: The suspects were then observed taking multiple fragrance bottles from the store shelves and placing them in the unoccupied stroller before leaving the store, according to police. After further investigation, Pennsylvania State Police later learned the same man and woman had gone into an Ulta store in Spring Township, Berks County. Spring Township police responded to that location and took the suspects into custody.

PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police are looking to speak with six teenagers following a shooting that injured two teens late last week. On Friday, Feb. 10 around 8 p.m., police say a 14-year-old boy and 19-year-old man were shot near the unit block of Chestnut Street and Penn’s Landing. Both were taken to Jefferson University Hospital in Center City and placed in stable condition.Investigators have now released video of six individuals wanted for questioning in connection with the shooting.

PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police are investigating the suspicious death of a child in the city. According to officials, police responded to a residence on the 400 block of N 50th Street in the city's West Philadelphia section on Friday around 2:30 a.m. Authorities say when officers arrived they found a 3-year-old girl unresponsive in a bathtub with no water. Medics transported the child to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where she was pronounced dead at 3:26 a.m., according to police. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESOfficials say the child also had bruises on her body. No additional information was released by police. Police say the investigation is active and ongoing with the department's Special Victims Unit.

PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police are investigating a double shooting in the city that left one person dead and another injured early Thursday morning. According to police, the shooting occurred on the 100 block of E Westmoreland Street in the city's North Philadelphia section just before 5 a.m. Officials say police arrived on scene and found two victims, including a 44-year-old man who was unresponsive and a 33-year-old woman who was shot in the leg. Both victims were rushed to Temple University Hospital, where the man was pronounced dead and the woman was placed in stable condition, according to authorities. Police say nine spent shell casings were discovered at the scene. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESAuthorities say a van that was struck multiple times by gunfire was found partially parked on the sidewalk.According to police, witnesses say the victim who died may have been driving the van. Police say no motive has been identified, but the investigation is active and ongoing.

Tunkhannock Township, Pa. - A silicone doll, a plastic bag and a suspicious location led to an interesting investigation in a Pennsylvania town. According to the Tunkhannock Township Police Department, officers were dispatched to the creek along State Route 307 in Overfield Township on Monday for a possible report of human remains. Authorities say a man and his child were getting a ball from the creek when they saw a plastic bag with what looked like a human foot sticking out of it. Officers and the county coroner came to the scene to observe the bag but did not touch or move it, per police. Officials say the foot was "extremely lifelike," and Pennsylvania State Police was called in to offer assistance. It was then that investigators determined the contents of the bag were not human remains. "We've seen this item referred to as a mannequin online.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - North Carolina police have released a new photo of Madalina Cojocari, a missing 11-year-old girl whose disappearance was reported to police nearly two months ago.Madalina's disappearance wasn't made known to Cornelius police until Dec. 15, when her mother, Diana Cojocari, told school officials and local police that she hadn't seen her daughter since she went to her bedroom the night of Nov. 23 around 10 p.m.

NEW YORK - The man alleged to have been behind the wheel of a U-Haul truck that struck multiple people on and off the street in Brooklyn has been charged.Police say Weng Sor, 62, a man with a significant violent criminal history in Nevada, has been charged with one count of second-degree murder and seven counts of attempted murder.Police said at a press conference on Tuesday that after interviews with his family members and interrogation, they believe Sor was suffering from a mental health crisis. The NYPD announced Wednesday that Weng Sor, 62, a man with a history of mental illness and violent criminal incidents, has been charged with one count of second-degree murder and seven counts of attempted murder after going on a rampage in a U-Haul truck in Brooklyn, striking pedestrians and killing one man.According to NYPD officials, Sor, who lives with his mother in Las Vegas, traveled to West Palm Beach in Florida on February 1 to rent a U-Haul truck. On February 5th, while traveling through South Carolina, en route to New York, he was stopped for reckless driving and marijuana possession by highway patrol. On February 6, Sor arrived at his ex-wife and son's residence, and a few days later on February 8, had an altercation with his son.

MERCER COUNTY, N.J. - All schools in Ewing were closed Tuesday in an "abundance of caution" due to a security threat connected to a mass shooting in Michigan. According to police, the Ewing Police Department was contacted by New Jersey State Police about a mass shooting at Michigan State University, which had a possible connection to Ewing, New Jersey. Authorities say the shooter, identified as 43-year-old Anthony McRae, had local ties to Ewing Township. Officials say at the time of his death by suicide in Michigan, McRae had a note in his pocket that indicated a threat against two Ewing public schools. MORE HEADLINES:McRae had a history of mental health issues, according to police. As the investigation continued, officials made the decision to close for the day as officers stayed near every school in the township. Authorities say they later learned the incident was isolated to Michigan and that there is no threat to Ewing schools. Police say McRae has not lived in the Ewing area for several years. This is a developing story.
