A Glasgow fire station has been struck by an outbreak of Covid-19 after six firefighters tested positive for the virus. Specialist cleaners were called to provide a thorough deep clean of Springburn Fire Station to stop the spread of coronavirus.Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have now put ‘robust arrangements’ in place for staff still working at the station based in the north of the city.
