Spanish bars promise three-hour happy hours and 50p beers after coronavirus

Spanish holidays could be even boozier when the coronavirus pandemic is over. In a bid to attract Brits to party destinations, bar owners have suggested that drinks will be cheap and free-flowing.

Previously, a Benidorm-based alcohol supplier said beer may be sold for as little as 50p. And now, industry experts say happy hours are likely to be extended.

Gary Adamson, who runs Bars Abroad on the Costa del Sol, says 2 for 1 deals could be in place for three hours at a time.
