SPFL clubs face a whopping bill of £10k per week to test their players and staff for COVID-19.The shock figures will see clubs paying out money that could get many in Scotland's top flight eight or nine players on a weekly-basis if they are to return to playing behind closed doors.If Scottish Premiership clubs are to return to action in phase two of the government's plans to get professional sport back, they will have to adhere to strict measures that include testing players and staff twice a week for coronavirus.understands those tests will set clubs back a minimum of £250 per test and with a conservative estimate of needing 20 players, that will be a bill of £10k for playing staff alone per week until the restrictions are lifted.
