Beauty salons are among the unessential businesses that have been told to close under the coronavirus Covid-19 lockdown, in a bid to protect staff, customers and stop the spread of the deadly disease.

While the majority of people are just embracing the natural look, others have decided to have a go themselves - including Stacey Solomon.

The Loose Women star is among the many women who have taken matters into their own hands - excuse the pun - and tried to give themselves a salon-worthy manicure.

But things didn't quite go to plan, and after three hours of hard work Stacey admitted the process left her in tears. She shared her process to her Instagram stories for her 3.1 million followers to see.
