Strange sound in Everton vs Liverpool explained as plane flying over Goodison Park

Everton and Liverpool got their Merseyside derby clash underway tonight, fans were left puzzled by a loud droning noise coming from an empty Goodison Park.Many were forced to mute their TVs as a result, which was actually through no fault of broadcasters Sky Sports.It turns out the irritating noise was in fact a plane flying over Goodison just as the Merseyside rivals kicked off at Goodison, made all the more audible given there were no supporters in attendance.The Cessna 182 plane, which was picked up by popular flight tracking website Flight Radar, did a number of loops over the stadium before flying back to an airfield at Lytham St Annes near Blackpool.And a Twitter post from Liverpool Echo journalist Olivia Tobin suggests the plane flew.
