STRICTLY’S Neil Jones has revealed he was homeless as teenager and was forced to sleep on the streets for short periods of time.

The award-winning dancer made the admission on his Instagram page as he asked his followers to help raise money for a charity organisation that helps homeless youth.

Sharing to his 238k followers, Neil wrote: “Not many people know but as a teen I found myself at one point sleeping on the streets for a short period but because of a charity like DePaul I was able to find a place to stay.” The Strictly star was raising awareness about a new campaign from charity organisation Depaul UK, that focuses on helping young people in crisis and beyond.
