Super generous East Kilbride slimmers give to Loaves and Fishes food bank

Big-hearted slimmers in East Kilbride collected a ton of donations for Loaves and Fishes food bank over the Christmas holidays.Consultant Emma Johnston suggested the collection to members of the Thursday Greenhills Slimming World group after meeting some of the volunteers from the food banks in Morrisons, Lindsayfield at the start of December whilst they were promoting their Christmas campaign.After collecting information on what the food bank was looking for over the festive period, Emma took this to her members and asked them to bring one item from the list.Generous members answered the call, but went above and beyond, arriving with bags full of items varying from tinned products, toiletries, nappies, gift items and Christmas goodies.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
