Woolworths is lifting buying limits on some items this week, it's been announced. In an email to customers, chief executive Brad Banducci revealed that the surge of shoppers buying household items to stock-pile during isolation has eased, as the nation-wide panic over the coronavirus lessens.
Unfortunately toilet roll is still on the restricted list though. Sales were up to 14.1 million rolls this week, more than last week’s 11.5 million, but not at the highs of 20 million which was reached just a few weeks ago.
