Clara Amfo is known for using her radio shows to speak about hard-hitting and important issues such as race and mental health, but she also enjoys the lighter side of presenting – such as Glastonbury. The accomplished star is back on our screens throughout the weekend to host coverage from Worthy Farm in Somerset, beginning on Friday, 28 June. The evening will see performances from the likes of Cyndi Lauper, Camila Cabello, Little Simz, the Streets and Coldplay. But back in 2022, the 40 year old star opened up on having surgery for fibroids and how the painful condition left her in tears. The NHS explains that fibroids are non-cancerous growths that appear on, in or around the womb. They are made up of muscle and fibrous tissue and can vary in size.
