ALLENTOWN, Pa. - A Pennsylvania State trooper is under investigation after firing a weapon and hitting a motorist during a traffic stop.Officials say Allentown Police and troopers were conducting a highly visible "proactive traffic enforcement" in Allentown Friday evening, just after 5:30.A person was pulled over near South 3rd Street and West Union Street for a reported traffic violation. A trooper was said to have fired their assigned firearm during the stop, hitting the driver.The driver left the scene, driving onto South Carlisle Street, where the driver hit other vehicles before their own vehicle stopped on the 500 block of South Carlisle.The driver was taken to Saint Luke’s Hospital Fountain Hill for treatment.

PEMBERTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. - The National Weather Service tornadoes touched down in Burlington County, New Jersey and Chester County, Pennsylvania, in the wake of severe weather Friday.As storms made their way into the Delaware Valley, a tornado warning was issued for Chester County just after 11 Friday morning. The storm was situated in northern Chester County and also contained the threat of quarter-sized hail.A second tornado warning was issued for southern Chester County, extending into Delaware County, around 11:30, with the same threat for quarter-sized hail.Friday night, the NWS confirmed a tornado in West Caln Township, saying there was a tornado damage path, along with straight-line wind damage.

Shalaya Porter, 18, was last seen June 5 on the 4600 block of Fairmount Avenue, according to the Philadelphia Police Department. MONROE TOWNSHIP, Ohio - An Ohio man accused of fatally shooting his three young sons admitted to planning the killings and lined them up before executing them with a rifle, prosecutors said Friday.Chad Doerman, 32, who is also accused of wounding the boys' mother at the family’s home, has been charged with aggravated murder, authorities said.Clermont County's chief prosecutor of Municipal Court, David Gast, said during Doerman's arraignment Friday that one of the boys tried to flee into a nearby field but Doerman "hunted" his son down and brought him back to their home before killing him.Doerman's bail has been set at $20 million.
