Tekashi 6ix9ine has delayed the release of his music video for new track Gooba ‘out of respect’ following George Floyd’s death.

Floyd’s death has sparked anti-racism protests in support of the Black Lives Matter movement across the US and the rest of the world.

The 46-year-old died in Minneapolis after he was arrested and a white police officer knelt on his neck for over eight minutes, despite Floyd insisting he couldn’t breathe.

Tekashi, who was recently released from prison early due to coronavirus fears after serving 17-months of his sentence, was due to release the video on 5 June.
