As we've all been stuck at home in lockdown, it's fair to say that many of us have wistfully thought of a summer holiday abroad.

But it's been hard to consider the prospect of travelling abroad and lying on the beach whilst being worried about staying safe.

Many Brits have ruled out the prospect of a foreign holiday this year as our borders remain closed and a mandatory 14-day quarantine is required on return.

The FCO currently advises against all but essential travel. But there may be some light at the end of the tunnel as several countries in Europe begin to ease lockdown, and the quarantine rule will be reviewed every three weeks.
