That man spent a lifetime proving that statement was not true and created ‘The Blockson Collection.’It’s located right in the middle of Temple University’s campus.

Literally thousands of people walk right by it in a given week, and yet, it is still home to some of the most unique and interesting symbols of Black history in the country. "The Charles L.

PHILADELPHIA - A man is in the hospital after police say he was shot in the back near Temple University’s campus on Thursday afternoon.The shooting occurred around 12:33 p.m. on the 1600 block of Susquehanna Avenue. Police say a 30-year-old man was shot once in the lower back.

The zoo announced the birth of two threatened sloth bear cubs born on January 2.The cubs were born to 10-year-old bear mom Kayla and 10-year-old dad Bhalu, marking the second successful birth of the species at the zoo in the last four years. The zoo's animal team is monitoring their health and their interactions with Kayla. Zoo officials say the sex of the cubs has not yet been determined and names have not yet been chosen. According to the zoo, sloth bears are found in lowland forests in India, Nepal and Sri Lanka.

PHILADELPHIA - A wild Super Bowl party near Temple's campus left two alum with severely damaged cars and some Temple students are working to make it right. On Super Bowl Sunday, a video circulating on social media showed a silver Volvo being flipped before rowdy Eagles fans jumped on top of it. FOX 29's Kelly Rule spoke with the owner of the Volvo, Temple alum Cole Harper, who said he was in the city to watch the Super Bowl with his friends who live on the block. According to the DA's Office, Nicholas Faraglia, 22, and Edward Pearce, 23, both of Delaware County, were charged with criminal mischief, riot, criminal conspiracy, reckless endangerment of another person and disorderly conduct.
