Covid cases are rising in a remote corner of Scotland as the country battles the pandemic. That's according to the latest data from the Public Health Scotland's coronavirus dashboard, which reports the number of positive tests for the infection and their locations.
The Orkney Islands have recorded 91 Covid infections over the past seven days in the week from October 19 to 35 - that's 57 more than the previous week for a population of 22,400.
The island has jumped from the area in Scotland with one of the lowest case rates to one of the highest in the space of a week - with a rate of 406.3 per 100,000 people.
