Armed forces personnel will help vaccinate Ayrshire residents from today.Over 120 members of the military – representing the Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force – have been tasked with assisting the Covid inoculation effort at 11 health boards, including NHS Ayrshire & Arran.They were given two days of training earlier this week in preparation to administer jabs from today until the beginning of December.Some of those being deployed have previously supported the pandemic response across the UK, including the Covid-19 vaccine rollout earlier this year and the distribution of personal protective equipment (PPE).West Scotland Conservative MSP Jamie Greene has welcomed the military's involvement with winter on the way and an increase in
