A pub that was reported to the police a number of times for 'breaking lockdown rules' has actually turned into a community market for vulnerable residents and NHS staff.

The Spread Eagle Pub in Bromley Cross, Bolton, was reported for supposedly 'serving customers' while in coronavirus lockdown.

The landlords have now cleared up the confusion, saying that they are actually working day and night to provide essential produce for those that need it most as isolation rules continue.

The pub in Hough Lane is open from Tuesday to Sunday with its first hour, 9.30am to 10.30am, dedicated to NHS staff and customers over 60.
