This Morning presenter Rochelle Humes has opened up on a secret health battle and revealed how she managed to overcome it. Appearing on Loose Women on Tuesday, 17 October, Rochelle discussed how she used to suffer with a stammer when she was a child and that she was forced to seek help for the condition.The 34 year old told the panellists: “I saw a speech therapist and my mum got advice to send me to the GP to help me build confidence.That's why my Mum sent me to dancing and singing classes - because I had a stammer.
Now you can't shut me up.” The former Saturdays singer added that she “doesn’t notice” it much any more, even though she talks “for a living”.
Rochelle was then asked how taking part in dance and drama helped her overcome the stammer, to which Rochelle revealed it helped her with her confidence.
The presenter said: "I think my mum got advised to do that by the GP at the time, I saw like a speech therapist for quite a while but I think it was a confidence thing really, to just really find my own feet.
