A policewoman brutally attacked by a man on the streets of Birmingham tried to flee his savage blows. She was chased down the street by the man who began attacking her after she and her partner responded to a 999 call.
Kadeer Hussain, who also assaulted the woman's colleague, was jailed for two years following the attack, reports Birmingham Live.
The 38-year-old, of Handsworth, had previously been found guilty following a trial at Birmingham Crown Court of two charges of assault.
The court heard how the two officers responded to a call to an incident on May 2 last year and went to the street in Handsworth where the defendant lived.
