Tributes paid to 'beautiful' Celtic fan after she loses breast cancer battle

Celtic fan who lost her battle with breast cancer. Heartbroken relatives and friends have flooded social media with memories of 'inspiring' Laura Cunningham, who died in her sleep on Saturday.

The 32-year-old optician was admitted to St Andrews Hospice in Airdrie at the end of April after a 'tough and heroic' fight against triple negative breast cancer.

Laura, from East Kilbride, was described as a 'true role model' who was the 'life and soul of the party'. Friends described her strength during her cancer battle as 'nothing short of breathtaking'.In a post on Facebook, a relative said: “As a family we are heartbroken at the loss of such a hero.
