The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television series, from 2003 to 2015. As of 2019, Forbes estimated his net worth to be $3.1 billion

Trump to halt US funding of World Health Organization

US President Donald Trump said he has instructed his administration to halt funding to the World Health Organization over its handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

Mr Trump, at a White House news conference, said the WHO had "failed in its basic duty and it must be held accountable". He said the group had promoted China's "disinformation" about the virus that likely led to a wider outbreak of the virus than otherwise would have occurred.

The president said he had deep concerns on whether the US 'generosity' has been put to the best possible use at the organisation.
