TUI issues a new holiday update for those travelling this summer amid coronavirus crisis

TUI has further extended the suspension of holidays for UK customers amid coronavirus travel restrictions. The UK's biggest tour operator has today announced they have made the decision to cancel all holidays up to and including June 30.

Previously, the firm had cancelled all trips up to June 11. In addition, they have suspended its Marella Cruises sailings up to July 30.

Tui said in a statement that the suspension is “due to ongoing travel restrictions”. They explained to holidaymakers that if they are impacted by these changes, they will be sent a refund credit.

And if customers have booked a package holiday, they will receive an extra 20 percent booking incentive. This can however be swapped for cash by submitting a refund request on
