Two Kansas City Chiefs players have been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list and may not be able to play in the 2021 Super Bowl due to exposure to the virus.
ESPN reports that wide receiver Demarcus Robinson and center Daniel Kilgore were the two players placed on the list.
The COVID-19 list is used for players who have either been exposed or officially diagnosed. There is a chance they could still play in the Super Bowl if they receive five consecutive days of negative tests. “The NFL has done a great job with it, presenting different safety things for the players to stay as safe as possible,” Chiefs coach Andy Reid said. “We’ve been hammering this point home forever.
