Almost £2million worth of emergency cash will be banked on Friday morning by Scotland’s crisis hit clubs after Partick Thistle confirmed they will not try to drag the SPFL into court.

revealed that league bosses were facing an anxious wait to discover if their controversial coronavirus contingency measures – which were finally voted through on Wednesday night – would be brought crashing down at the 11th hour by legal action.But those fears were allayed by the afternoon when a Thistle statement revealed they’ve decided not to go to the court of session for the interim interdict which could have blocked payments for months.
