UEFA's stance on declaring leagues has been praised by the joint SPFL and SFA response group who say it is vital leagues can consider their own circumstance.

Scottish clubs have already voted for leagues from the Championship down to be ended on a points per game average and the Premiership could follow suit.

The resolution passed by clubs allows for the league to be called at a later date if games cannot not be played, which would declare Celtic as champions while relegating Hearts to the second tier.
