Swiss league bans goal celebrations as plans unveiled for football return that could foretell SPFL future

Swiss football authorities are planning on returning to football in May - and could play every game in the same stadium to complete their season.And players will be banned from celebrating goals or shaking hands with their team-mates in a bid to cut down on the risk of the virus being transmitted.

The Super League teams have played 23 games so far this season with St Gallen leading Rangers' Europa League rivals Young Boys on goal difference.

They've put in place a series of plans in a bid to get the season finished with 13 matches left for every team in the division with the Swiss football league hoping it saves club from financial ruin and can also give the nation something to enjoy during the coronavirus crisis.
