UFC president Dana White has come under fire from Tyson Fury's promoter Bob Arum for pressing ahead with UFC 249 amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The Barclays Center in New York was set to stage the event on April 18, despite the city being one of the areas worst-affected by the Covid-19 virus in the United States.
However the New York State Athletic Commission have since prohibited the venue from hosting the event, with a new location still to be confirmed.
Khabib Nurmagomedov was due to defend his UFC lightweight title against Tony Ferguson but has been forced to pull out due to him being stuck in lockdown in his native Russia.
