Rapper and TV host Big Narstie has met his namesake at a UK racing stable. The grime artist visited Richard Spencer's Newmarket base, where the two-year-old horse is in training.
He was invited to meet the juvenile by the trainer and owner Phil Cunningham, who also has a colt named after two-time heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury. "Big Narstie came down to the yard and we asked his permission to name the horse after him," Spencer said. "I met him with Phil and we showed him the horse, a nice two-year-old we really like. "I think we managed to turn him into a racing fan." The visit came on the same day The Big Narstie Show, co-presented by comedian Mo Gilligan, aired on Channel 4 with guests including Louis Theroux and Sara Pascoe.
