This weekend the UK will see temperatures surge in a Spring mini-heatwave which will bring sunshine and warmth to everyone who's been cooped up inside for the coronavirus lockdown.
But before then, bitter winds will lash parts of Britain in some very wintry weather. Wednesday morning kicked off with widespread frost in the south, with clear skies and chilly air for much of England.
Other areas woke up to clouds and some showery rain in the north. "Through the day outbreaks of rain push southwards across western Scotland and into Northern Ireland," Weather Outlook's latest forecast says. "There could be isolated showers elsewhere in other western areas too but the south and east remain mainly dry.
