Vaccinations of over 75s with serious conditions continues today

The vaccination of those over 75 and of people with serious underlying conditions will continue today as concern grows about the number of cases of Covid 19 in the community.

525 new cases were reported yesterday evening and average daily cases have remained at around 500. For the seventh day in a row the 14 day incidence rate was at around 150 cases per 100,000.

County Offaly, which yesterday reported 25 new cases, has the highest 14 day incidence rate in the country with almost 389 cases per 100,000.
