Many people have been hoping for a return to normal once the elderly and those most at risk from Covid-19 have received the jab.But scientists say this might not be enough to see an end to measures such as social distancing and wearing face masks.They suggest restrictions may be needed until at least half of the UK’s population has been vaccinated.Stephen Evans, professor of pharmacoepidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, said vaccination alone will not be enough.
