The 2020 Venice Film Festival is happening this September. The world’s longest running film festival will be going on just as planned, Luca Zaia, governor of Veneto, confirmed on Sunday (May 24), via Variety.

The event is scheduled to take place from September 2 to September 12. “Venice surveyed a wide range of film industry executives in early May to ask for concerns and suggestions about the upcoming edition.
