Victor Lindelof insists it has been great to play alongside Harry Maguire in the heart of the Manchester United defence this season.
The pair were beginning to flourish at the centre of the back four before football was postponed due to coronavirus. Indeed, before the stoppage the Red Devils in general were looking much stronger in defence, having conceded only two goals in 12 games.
Maguire moved to Old Trafford from Leicester City for a world record fee for a defender last summer and has already been named club captain.
The England international started to stamp his authority on the squad right from the get go and Lindelof has reaped the benefits it seems. “It’s been great playing with Harry a lot this season.
