Ryan Tubridy hit the nail on the head with his introduction to Friday evening’s Late Late Show, describing current events as ‘a whole lifetime happening before our eyes.’ The RTÉ presenter was back in the hot seat, guiding viewers at home through another audience-free show that honoured social distancing – our ‘new normal.’ Joined on Skype by guests including Sharon Corr who is currently staying in in Madrid, Stephen Fry who stayed put in London and Daniel and Majella O’Donnell cooped up in their Donegal home, it was a Late Late Show that once again broke tradition.
The focus was firmly on educating audiences with further chats with the Minister for Finance Pascal Donoghue and Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan amongst others.
