Nick Cordero, the 41-year-old Broadway actor who has been sedated in the intensive care unit since April 1, is having his leg amputated amid complications that have resulted from his battle with COVID-19.
Cordero's wife, Amanda Kloots — who has chronicled his health struggles on social media since the beginning of April when he was, at first, diagnosed with pneumonia — on Saturday shared the somber news in an Instagram story. "We got some difficult news yesterday," she said in a video update on Cordero's coronavirus fight. "Basically, we had issues with his right leg with clotting and getting blood down to his toes.
