Wayne Rooney has claimed players voicing their opinions are being ignored as English football is being "pushed to return too soon".
Rooney, alongside a host of Premier League stars including Sergio Aguero, Glenn Murray and Danny Rose, has spoken out against football returning at the expense of player wellbeing. 'Project Restart' aims to resume games as early as 12 June while the Championship is targeting a return to training on 25 May.
Derby County skipper Rooney also admitted that he had not been contacted by the EFL or the PFA to gauge the mood of Rams players.
