The tree-lined colourful south Manchester street is renowned for its vibrant mix of independent restaurants, bars, cafes, and boutique shops.
There's an overriding community spirit within this close-knit row of Chorlton traders. Some activity has been happening on the road throughout lockdown with people strolling through for exercise, to pick up a takeaway or perhaps to nip into Ludo for some fresh bread or to join the queue outside the Co-op.
But it’s hard not to notice the shutters that have been drawn for some time and the empty seating outside restaurants, cafes and bars that would
