Weddings, birthday parties, Christmas dinner and funerals could be banned until 2021 amid coronavirus fears, experts have revealed.
Large "super-spreader" events could result in each guest infecting up to ten more people, according to research led by senior epidemiologist Adam Kucharski.
Indoor events such as sports clubs, family gatherings and political party meetings - especially in poorly ventilated venues - could remain a danger until next year.
