A number of DIY chains will be open over the Bank Holiday weekend, after easing restrictions a fortnight ago, amid lockdown.
B&Q, Homebase, Wickes and more will be open for business, with measures such as two metre floor markers in place for social distancing.
Under the Prime Minister's guidelines, these chains are 'essential retailers' as they provide a service to the public, such as for emergency supplies and construction tools.
And with this in mind, they have been allowed to stay open - with important safety measures, such as two metre queues, face masks and card-only payments in force.
