The Scottish Fire Service has called in a Dad’s Army of retired employees as 150 frontline workers are off with the coronavirus.The replacements - most of whom recently left the service - have been put to work in operation control rooms across the country.The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service - SFRS - has set up COVID-19 testing facilities across Scotland and continues to identify staff on a daily basis who fit the testing criteria.The contingency measures have ensured the safety of the 8000 strong workforce and ensured the nation is protected.Other measures to minimise impact on the emergency service include limiting access to all fire stations and SFRS sites to essential personnel only.Senior officers are also ensuring firefighters don’t
