Alesha Dixon has opened up on why she decided to keep her pregnancies a secret, having shielded both her two babies until just before the births.

The Britain’s Got Talent star has baby Anaya Safiya, born in August last year, and six-year-old Azura Sienna with husband Azuka Ononye.

Both times the singer was able to keep her pregnancies from prying eyes after locking the news down and only sharing an update after the babies were born.

Alesha laughed she ‘has a good seamstress’ who managed to keep her growing bump under wraps the first time around. ‘The bill for the tailor that year was quite high… ‘ she told Giovanna Fletcher on the Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast. ‘Thing is most people think why would you hide that?
