Onlookers stood on bridges and clapped as a convoy of around 450 trucks drove down the M60 today. The truck drivers were taking part in a national fundraiser to drum up funds for foodbanks during the coronavirus crisis.
Scores of people posted pictures and videos of the convoy on social media. Writing on Twitter, Jessica wrote: "How amazing M60 all truck drivers from all over, raising money for the food banks!!
