Diogo Jota is flattered by Manchester United ’s interest and he has even joked at Bruno Fernandes taking his shirt number at Old Trafford.
Fernandes arrived at United from Sporting in January in a deal worth an initial fee of £47m which could rise to £68m. Meanwhile, fellow Portugal international Jota is loving life in the Premier League with Wolves at Molineux.
The 23-year-old was on a blistering run of form before the season was suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak. And his strong showings at Wolves over the past three years have even attracted interest from the Red Devils.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is in the market for attacking reinforcements this summer, and Jota has discussed the reports linking him with a move while in isolation.
