Two brothers aged six and seven have died in a horrific crash after their took their grandma's car out for a joyride. The young siblings managed to sneak out with the keys for the 2007 Buick LaCrosse car before they drove across a field and into a road in Missouri last week.

Police believe the older brother was driving with the younger boy in the passenger seat when they lost control of the car and hit a wire.

A crash report says the car rolled over, hit a tree and landed on its roof before catching on fire, kshb.com reports. Officers from Missouri Highway Patrol rushed to the crash but they were unable to save the boys who were pronounced dead at the scene.
