Locations in 19 nineteen counties will benefit from a €9million fund aimed at enhancing outdoor dining suitable for the Irish climate.
Fáilte Ireland announced 38 locations across the country for permanent structures for hospitality outlets to share. Paul Kelly, CEO of Fáilte Ireland, said this is a "permanent positive legacy from Covid that we will have enhanced outdoor dining across Ireland".
The locations that will benefit from the scheme were announced at an event in Howth in north Dublin this afternoon. The seaside village is one of the locations to receive funding along with Bantry, Co Cork, Castlebar, Co Mayo, and Bundoran, Co Donegal.
