60% of Canadians say their screen time has increased during pandemic: Ipsos poll

Ipsos polling done exclusively for Global News shows 60 per cent of us say our screen time has increased due to things like working from home and online school.

Forty-three per cent say they’re spending less time outdoors. Thirty-five per cent say their financial situation worsened over the past year.

And 29 per cent say their savings for emergency’s and major purchases have diminished. All of that has had an effect on our physical and mental health.

Thirty-four per cent say their physical health has deteriorated over the last year while 43 per cent say their mental health has suffered..
