Alan Shearer picks four strikers in his Premier League team of the season

Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer has picked Arsenal 's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Liverpool 's Sadio Mane, Leicester 's Jamie Vardy and Manchester City 's Sergio Aguero in an ultra-attacking team of the season so far.

Mane was one of five players Shearer chose from the league leaders, after Jurgen Klopp's side amassed an impressive 25 point lead at the top of the table before football was suspended due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

However, one outstanding Liverpool star he opted to omit from the team was goalkeeper Alisson, with Sheffield United stopper Dean Henderson preferred over the Brazilian.
