Amanda Abbington has demanded footage of Strictly Come Dancing rehearsals with Giovanni Pernice, it has been reported. The 51-year-old star shocked fans when she quit the BBC show in October, citing personal reasons for her exit.She has since revealed she's been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and she is said to have requested recordings from rehearsals and taken legal action following a backstage feud with pro partner Giovanni.According to The Sun, the BBC has received a request for the footage as a data subject request.

A source told the publication: "There is a feeling that the recordings will lift the lid on what really goes on behind the scenes on Strictly. "Things in rehearsals can become very tense." They added that Giovanni could be "incredibly full-on" as he is a "perfectionist".A friend close to the actress reportedly told the publication that she had been left "broken and saddened" by the experience and has "needed therapy and was left in shock by the behaviour she was exposed to".

They went on to add that it's taken her months for her to get over what she went through and that it was a "real shock" as she had been so excited to sign up to the show.They added: "Everyone else was having a fabulous time, but she was really stressed by having to spend eight hours a day with Giovanni.

She spent a lot of time crying and couldn’t sleep or eat properly."The BBC declined to comment when approached by the Mirror.
